In Over My Head

It's that time of year again when all I seem to live, eat and breathe is the Arts Trail. Whilst this is not actually true, it really does seem to be sometimes. It's a constant round of chasing people - artists, makers, venues. So, as well as looking forward to the Trail weekend as a great event to be a part of, I can't wait for Monday 12 May when it will all be over for another year. And this is my last year as part of the group which organises the Trail, so I think I'll be able to breathe a little more easily soon.

Whilst I'll miss being part of such a great and interesting group of individuals (the Steering Committee), I want to spend more time promoting and making my own work and also have the time to sit down, relax and get to bed before 2am (or even 1am!) - although I think that's a bit of a habit that will probably never leave me.

Anyway, if anyone out there would like to take a bigger part in the Trail I can thoroughly recommend it (just maybe not for three consequetive years) and there'll be a space free for a Trail Co-ordinator from October - so please get in touch - 07742 740642 or communication@sbaweb.co.uk.
