Southbank Bristol Arts

INSIDE OUTSIDE is an open exhibition organised by Southbank Bristol Arts and held at the Grant Bradley Gallery, between 10 October and 15 November 2008. The Grant Bradley Gallery is open Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm.

Following on from 2007's ‘Homecoming’ exhibition, this year SBA are offering artists the opportunity to broaden their horizons by looking outside for inspiration. As detailed in the Call for Artists, Bristol artists were invited to submit previously undisplayed works, in any medium, that respond to the idea of ‘outside’. Exhibition details

Venue: Grant Bradley Gallery, 1 St Peter’s Court, Bedminster Parade, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 4AQ. For a map, please use one of the following links to a road map or satellite map on Google maps.

Dates and times: 10 October – 15 November 2008, Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm.

Submissions: please see the INSIDE OUTSIDE Brief for details.

Selection: this exhibition will be curated by a panel including SBA Committee members and Grant Bradley Gallery staff who will select work from submissions made by artists, as detailed in the INSIDE OUTSIDE Brief.

Sales: work may be made available for sale, with a 30% commission being taken from the selling price by Grant Bradley Gallery.

Prizes: prizes will be awarded at 8 pm on Friday 10 October 2008 during the preview night.

Schedule: the closing date for submissions is 5 pm on 12 September 2008.

Notification of selection: 26 September 2008.

Handing in day for selected work: Saturday 4 October 2008, 10 am – 4 pm, at the Grant Bradley Gallery.

Preview night: Friday 10 October 2008, 7 – 9 pm.
